When designing a fire protection system, the challenge is to select the right solution to match the risk. Raj engineering services provide effective fire fighting and fire suppression system.
Our fire fighting system specializes in providing highly automated machines and mechanisms which help the fire fighters to get control over the fire disaster. Our fire fighting equipment involve fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, fire hydrant systems, automatic sprinkler systems.
We provide unique fire suppression system which involves special control systems to extinguish fires without human intervention it involves various highly engineered automated systems like fire sprinkler system, gaseous fire suppression, and condensed aerosol fire suppression.

Fire is the result of a chemical reaction called combustion The triangle illustrates the three elements a fire needs to ignite: heat, fuel, and an oxidizing agent (usually oxygen). A fire naturally occurs when the elements are present and combined in the right mixture, meaning that fire is actually an event rather than a thing. So if we even get control of one factor we can break the triangle so depending on all such components.

Our fire fighting equipment involve:-

– Fire Extinguishers
– Fire Hose Reels
– Fire Hydrant Systems
– Automatic Sprinkler Systems

Fire Extinguishers

Fire extinguishers are provided for a ‘first attack’ fire fighting measure, generally undertaken by the occupants of the infrastructure before the fire fighters arrive. It is important that all the people who encounter a fire are familiar with which extinguisher type to use on which fire.
Depending of the type of fire and safety measurements we install various types of fire extinguishers.
• Class A extinguishers will put out fires in ordinary combustibles such as wood and paper
• Class B extinguishers are for use on flammable liquids like grease, gasoline and oil
• Class C extinguishers are suitable for use only on electrically energized fires
• Class D extinguishers are designed for use on flammable metals.

We do make sure that our fire fighting equipment are effectively used by anyone who encounters a fire. Fire extinguisher locations must be clearly identified. Extinguishers are colour coded according to the extinguishing agent. Below we have listed the fire extinguishers according to the extinguishing agent.

Fire Hose Reels

Fire hose reels are located at strategic locations in the given infrastructure to provide a reasonably accessible and controlled supply of water for fire extinguishing. An accessible reel could contain a small fire quickly and minimize damage.
We have highly skilled employees who expertise in installing the right safety systems for you to get easy control over a fire disaster. The most important benefit of the hose reels are ,As hose reels are generally located next to an exit, in an emergency it is possible to reach a safe place simply by following the hose.
The fire hose reels are designed to deliver, as a minimum, 0.33L of water per second. A control nozzle attached to the end of the hose enables the operator to control the direction and flow of water to the fire. All fire hose reels come with a unique ball valve shut-off device, a plastic or solid brass hose reel nozzle and mounting bracket.

The selection of the fire reels will depend on the structure of your building and we will select the best for you, below we have enlisted some Semi-Rigid Hose, Semi-Rigid Reel Hose, Fire Hose reel with Semi-Rigid Hose, Lock shield valve, Hose storage, Nozzles,Hose rack assembly component. The above accessories are just a part of the fire hose system. As the requirements we will provide complete solution of fire hose systems.

Fire Hydrant System

Fire Fighting Hydrant Systems are the most commonly used systems, in many residential and industrial projects.
There are two or three main pipes that are connected from the pump room and form a network of pipes to cover the factory and its premises. A special well is dug, called “Fire Well”, where water is stored throughout the year for 365days.When the fire is detected, immediately the fire hydrant system is directed towards the fire and water with strong force extinguishes the fire. The work of the pump is to consistently pump water so as to maintain the pressure. Some of the distinctive features of our products includes: Sturdy and can be used for medium or large sized fire Since the system is wide, it surrounds the fire from all angles Low maintenance is required and there is no leakage of water Material of construction is mild steel, FRP metal, etc. installed in Corporate Towers, Educational Institutes, Residential & Commercial Buildings, Schools, Warehouses, etc.

Raj engineering services engineer the systems and have quality experience in installing the fire hydrant systems. All our fire safety equipment’s are installed by taking in to consideration the latest Indian standard NBC 2016. Fire hydrants are installed considering the IS 908: 1975.

Fire Hydrant systems mainly comprises of the following components:-
 – Water Supply & Storage.
 – Pipework & Valves.
 – Fire Brigade Booster.
 – Pumpset.
 – Hydrant, Hydrant Valve or Landing Valve & Coupling.
 – Layflat Fire Hose.
 – Block Plan.

Automatic Sprinkler Systems

We offer a wide range of fire sprinkler systems and fire detection systems to keep your infrastructure safe. Raj Engineering offers the highest quality alarm systems to keep you safe from fires and carbon monoxide poisoning .
The qualified fire sprinkler professionals recognize that each customer has unique needs as per their construction and business. Regulatory codes, insurance specifications, environmental and operational concerns are routinely balanced within budget parameters. Engineering technicians, project managers, and experienced field installation and service technicians are specialists, qualified to evaluate, layout, fabricate, install and service optimal fire protection systems – on time and on budget.

As per the business and requirement including all safety measures we provide a variety of sprinkler system:-
 – Dry pipe
 – Pre-Action
 – Tail-end
 – Residential and
 – Domestic fire sprinkler systems.

A sprinkler system consists of a water supply (or supplies) and one or more sprinkler installations; each installation consists of a set of installation main control valves and a pipe array fitted with sprinkler heads. The sprinkler heads are fitted at specified locations at the roof or ceiling, and where necessary between racks, below shelves, and in ovens or stoves.
Systems are designed in accordance with either a pre-calculated table where pipe diameters are given or fully calculated where pipework is sized by hydraulic calculation.
